Bookings/Payments, Cancellation and Refund Policy The Celtic Connexion 2016



Payment Policy for Holidays:
Deposit of 25% of total due on booking to secure date
50% of total due four weeks in advance of arrival
Final numbers are set two weeks prior to arrival
100% of total due before arrival


Payment Policy for Day Trips, Hikes and Guides:
50% of total due on booking to secure date
50% of total due two weeks prior to the trip date



Holidays Cancellation & Refund Policy:
If cancelled more than four weeks before arrival, cancellation fee of 25% of total applies
If cancelled between four to two weeks before arrival, cancellation fee of 75% of total applies
If cancelled less than two weeks before arrival, the booking is not refundable


Day Trips Cancellation & Refund Policy:
If cancelled more than four weeks before date, cancellation fee of 25% of total applies
If cancelled between four to two weeks before date, cancellation fee of 50% of total applies
If cancelled less than two weeks before date, the booking is not refundable


Insurance:
We strongly advise to take a Sports & Activities Travel & Cancellation Insurance Policy.
If the reason for your cancellation is covered by the terms of any insurance policy you
have purchased, you may be able to reclaim any applicable non-refunded cancellation
charges from the insurers. On the other hand, for example AA Travel Insurance Policy
Grade 1 - with no additional charge, covers you for emergency medical and other expenses
for the following activities automatically, provided that the activity is on an Incidental basis:
Fishing and Hiking (under 2,000 metres altitude)
It is compulsory that you have or take out insurance to fully cover any medical expenses while on your holiday in Ireland as The Celtic Connexion is not liable in the unlikely event of any group member requiring medical attention.


Insurance:
For Hiking Day Trips we strongly advise to take a Sports & Activities Insurance Policy for
Fishing and Hiking (under 2,000 metres altitude)
It is compulsory that you have or take out insurance to fully cover any medical expenses while on your holiday in Ireland as The Celtic Connexion is not liable in the unlikely event of any group member requiring medical attention.
